The new wing of the National Gallery of Scotland, is formally opened today by Angus Robertson MSP accompanied by Director General of the Scottish National Galleries Sir John Leighton. The new extension opens after several years of problematic construction and cost overruns. The gallery showcases Scottish art from the mid 19th century to the 20th century.
