Early parcel post light wagons were standard in length (6' 6"), height (6' 4") and look (green with red running boards, black striping and gold lettering). Among the cargo being loaded in this 1914 photograph are several automobile tires. Parcel post is a postal service for mail that is too heavy for normal letter post. It is usually slower than letter post.
