Jan. 30, 1980 - Dresden is again a world metropolis of art. From a bird's perspective we can see the Dresden Zwinger (1711-1728) and the Sempel Opera(1871-1878). Both were severely damaged during World War II. The Zwinger is now shining again and reconstruction on the opera house is currently in full swing. The opera house reconstruction should be completed by 1983.
